My Co-op Experience at MPI

Why did you apply for a placement with Max Planck Institute?
I wanted the experience of living abroad, particularly in Germany, and the MPI’s research is well-known and respected.

What recommendations do you have for students who wish to participate in MPI-UBC exchange program?
It’s a wonderful opportunity both academically and socially.

Tell us about your travels and cultural experiences in Germany and the rest of the Europe
It’s very easy and cheap to travel around Europe. I’ve been to Lake Konstanz, Germany; Athens, Greece; Paris, France; and Cadarache, France (where the ITER project is housed).
